We are proud to offer to our patients at their exams the DIAGNOdent laser cavity detector.  We shine a harmless laser light onto the biting surface and smooth surfaces of your teeth and the DIAGNOdent measures the light reflected back.

Using this technology we are able to spot cavities earlier than ever so we can take steps to stop decay before it gets very large or causes you pain!

We can see them before they are visible on x-rays or when we could feel them with our instruments.

Even though teeth may be strong on the outside, if there is even a microscopic defect on the surface, a large cavity can then form beneath.

The DIAGNOdent was developed precisely for this!
